Care centre Birkhoven

During construction of new Vierstroomzorgring premises, a solution had to be found for accommodating the residents of the Zoetermeer centre. An interim site was decided upon, and within six months, a temporary nursing home had been built on the Ondineschouw. In Monteverdi, around 250 residents now live in small-scale homes for 6-8 people. Most of the residents have their own bedroom and share a communal living room, where activities for all of the residents regularly take place. Facilities such as a reception area, a hairdresser, an exercise room, physiotherapy, an activity room, outpatient care and meeting rooms are available to residents, employees and visitors.
